I am a labor economist working on gender, cultural norms, discrimination, and social justice. I am a Research Affiliate at IZA and an associate editor for the Journal of Economics, Management, and Religion.

I worked as an Early Career Fellow (non-tenure track Assistant Professor) at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin, from 2023 to 2025, as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Economics, University of Nottingham, from 2020 to 2024, and as a post-doctoral fellow at Columbia Business School from 2018 to 2020.

I received my Ph.D. in Managerial Economics from The University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management in 2018, an M.A. in Economics from The New Economic School, and an M.A. and B.A. in Oriental and African Studies from Moscow State University.
